Probably like you, I am currently at home practicing social distancing during this COVID-19 craziness. My heart goes out to all of the countries and people that have been affected by this. About a week ago, widespread concern about the virus finally occurred in Brazil, causing businesses to shut down and people to stay inside.
Luckily for me, I recently found an apartment and had gotten somewhat settled with plants, things to cook with, and wifi. Come to think of it… I had wifi installed only two days before all the businesses shut down. I’d probably be going crazy right now if I was stuck inside with no Internet.
Jokes aside, feeling very fortunate and thankful for my health and a comfy home to be in.
I’m using this excess of free time to create in several different mediums. I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and fermenting whatever I can: sauerkraut, tepache, sourdough bread… you name it!
I’ve also been brewing liters upon liters of kombucha, testing flavor combinations and tea ratios to start selling soon. I just bottled a Citra-hopped green tea and a cucumber-basil flavor I made from boiling up a simple syrup.
I’m also making another website, reading, and resting (of course).
With love,
Alexander
